Good ideas aren't enough.

I've heard so many people that I respect, creative and otherwise, that talk about working on their craft. They have a spark of inspiration and think it's the greatest idea ever. But they don't stop there and run full force with that idea. They keep working on the idea. It goes through several phases until they get it RIGHT.
"Get a good idea and stay with it. Do it, and work at it until it's done right." - Walt Disney
This is a great quote by one of the most innovative people of all time. You see, good ideas are not enough. It takes work. Creativity is work. Innovation is work. When those sparks hit you, work them. Don't take them to production straight away. Put in the work. Is this idea clear? Is it simple? Is it concrete?
It's not about doing stuff, it's about doing the right stuff the right way.
