Too big. Too fast.

No matter what field of work you are in, ministry, business or anything else, it's easy to constantly want to grow. And there is nothing wrong with that. In reading the parable of the talents, our Master, wants to see us do great things with our resources and multiply them for Him. However, we need to be careful that we're not sacrificing the future of our organization to do so.
Truett Cathy, found of Chick-fil-A, said that one of the biggest failures he has seen in business (and this goes for ministry too) is that they try to grow too big too fast. Some people do this by over-leveraging themselves and get so far in debt that they can't get out and have to close their doors. Others do it at the cost of their families. And I'm sure there are plenty of other ways people try to grow too big too fast.
There is definitely a balance here. It's growing step by step. Slow and steady wins the race. In the meantime of hitting the numbers you're looking for, make sure to take time to build the infrastructure that will support the growth you are looking for.
What systems can you implement now to be big even while you're not big?
